AGASOBANUYE LIVE

Until Dawn - (review)

“Until Dawn” is a horror game that balances excitement, mystery and paranormal scenes into a story about facing dangers and the unknown. Clover and her friends set out to the valley to try to learn about the disappearance of her sister Melanie. When our characters venture through a sealed-up visitor center, they start a haunting cycle of death, each new day beginning where they first woke up. Because the events repeat, viewers quickly sense that they must uncover an exit from this scary situation.

What I found most interesting was that the film creatively uses a time loop and each time it happens, the villains become more horrible and threats become greater. Every time Everyday runs again, the fear intensifies and it’s easy to care about the characters because they seem so desperate. Suspenseful scenes work well close to shocking deaths, adding richness to the characters’ histories and giving more depth to the story’s feeling. Because the dangers are always changing and the killers are unpredictable, the fear stays high and everything feels important.

With its amazing cinematography, the game shows off the strange and deserted environment perfectly. Along with frightening shots, the music adds tension and makes the suspense stronger as the film goes on. The movie’s story moves fast, thanks to the editors and directors, yet the emotional part remains strong. I had both fear, interest and hope for the characters as I watched, wanting them to free themselves from their horrible situation. It creates a mood of worry which anyone who sees it will find difficult to shake.
