AGASOBANUYE LIVE

Knock Knock - (review)

The film **Knock Knock** directed by Eli Roth follows a tale about the destructive aspects of temptation while revealing dark desires in its storyline. Through the story two seductive teenage women shown by Lorenza Izzo and Ana de Armas approach Keanu Reeves as he serves as a loving husband and caring father. Roth functions masterfully to illustrate the fight between responsibility and independence until the story transforms into a distressing game of controls and destruction.

The actor Reeves performs powerfully to show his character shifts from affectionate to exposed and frantic. Izzo and de Armas create a beguiling combination of innocence and danger which lures spectators as chaos unfolds around them. Visual effects and atmospheric pressure in the film build suspenseful tension between the audience while musical scores drive their emotional interaction with the story.

Several critics note simple character flaws and standard plotlines in *Knock Knock* yet this film remains effective in demonstrating that one kind act can eventually destroy everything. Throughout the narrative the film prompts audience members to think about desire alongside infidelity while demonstrating how fantasy borders reality until unanticipated consequences emerge.
