The Two Sisters is a moving sentimental television drama that explores the relationships within families and feelings that appear as a result of parents’ divorce. It mainly revolves around two sisters’ Lee Hye won and Lee Hye Ji, who will have to struggle in life due to the ugly dirty divorce of their parents. For adults, Hye-won is focused on a man who feels that he needs to obey his estranged stepmother if he wants to be financially stable in life, which gives the audience the theme of what people are willing to sacrifice for affection.
Yoo Sun shines as Song Hae Jeong than Hye Ji portrayed as poor and emotionally abused and evolves into Bae Do Eun. As a strong once-passionate attraction is replaced by hatred unlove between the two sisters, they are easily pushed towards rivalry that makes them act according to revenge because of similar suffering they had to face. The elements of characters’ backstory are integrated into the screenplay very skillfully creating tension, thus, deepening the plot, but sometimes it lacks the rapid pace.
However, there are some issues associated with the presentation of minor characters, and the perception makes the spectator receive an impression of a number of presented topics as insufficiently developed. However, the very arrangement of the series sustains suspense and further the image of the key heroines. Finally, *The Two Sisters* becomes a powerful message of the love and the difficulty of the sisterhood; the spectators will receive here the shot hope on the fact that even if brothers and sisters experienced something terrible, they will always remain close no matter what.
