“The Brothers Sun” Season 01 is indeed an interesting and realistic crime drama that portrays the dramatic life of the main characters, because the protagonist, Charles Sun, is a brutal gangster from Taipei, who has to take his family under his protection with the help of his brother What a sad fate for a father, an assassination. The series is focused on the principles of loyalty, sacrifice and presenting sentiment and tactile relationships complicated through Taiwanese simplistic mixing with American setting that strengthens the show.
The acting for instance by the character Charles is quiteforceful and intense and the plot a clear case of man against challenge or man against self unmistakably played out within the family unit. The other characters boost the show and portrays characters with unquantifiable ethical standards. The direction and the soundtrack are well done: coordination of the high-motion ride and reflective sections are adequate to capture the two-sidedness of Charles’s life, as well as the visuals.
