This movie was created by Daniel Espinosa who also directed the action packed thriller ‘Safe House.’ The story follows a CIA agent named Matt Weston (played by Ryan Reynolds). A traitor named Tobin Frost (portrayed by Denzel Washington) whose safe house comes under attack forcing them to escape from their assailants.
In the film “Reynolds Rise ” Reynolds undergoes a transformation, from an office worker to a clever undercover operative embodying the American ethos while Washington portrays the pragmatic and cunning criminal counterpart that adds an authentic touch, to the cat and mouse dynamic of pursuing villains in the story line. The movies pace is intensified by incorporating sequences featuring high octane action and gritty consequences depicted through an approach that highlights the characters sense of solitude and despair.
Ramin Djawadis music elevates the suspense in the movie and contributes to its captivating storyline; however,”Safe House” does contain some scenes and underdeveloped characters with arcs that hinder its originality to some extent.Despite that the film effectively weaves together action and anticipation of whats to come making it linger in peoples minds even after it ends.
