A high-speed action film named “Ninja Assassin presents the story of youthful ninja Raizo who breaks free from the brutal Ozunu clan that trained him for lethal combat and brutal violence. Throughout the story Raizo evolves from an emotionless killer into a vengeful character who wants to punish his clan because of their cruel betrayal of his fellow assassins.
While Raizo joins forces with Europol investigator Mika the film turns into an intense quest of revenge. The dangerous missions they execute together become more interesting because their synchronized movements in fighting are both fluent and precise. The movie displays intense blood-soaked fights through fast-paced confrontations that display the murderous Talento Duelo techniques passed down to Raizo in his training.
The audience is drawn to the movie through dramatic as well as spectacular martial arts fights alongside Raizo’s battle to earn lawful justice. Although standard action movie elements exist in “Ninja Assassin” the film achieves greatness through its intense battles and thorough exploration of Raizo’s character who seeks peace in a world divided by rivalry and betrayal.
