Jawan is a plain action drama with lot of excitement in the scenes of robbery and theft along with a powerful social concern. Numerous highlights are featured this tale centres on Vikram, a prison warden, who uses prisoners to stage daring crimes to fight for corruption and inadequate health care systems in political areas. Thus, the desire to meet the antagonist Kalee motivates Vikram to achieve a spectacular climax, making demands on the government.
It seeks to create awareness of adoption of democracy by the Americans and other Americans’ involvement in democracy which is captured by the power of voting. Solid performances and especially from the protagonist improve the emotional appeal of the movie which looks quite good through the choreographed actions and an excellent sound track.
Though some of the plot twist may appear clichéd, “Jawan” contains enough action and brings up important issues relating to society. In other words it is an inspiring combination of thrill and passion received 4.5/5 , can be recommended to those who prefer action movies with social significance.
