AGASOBANUYE LIVE

Ghosted - (review)

“Ghosted” is a lovely cocktail of rom-com that, to the reader’s surprise, goes for laughs as well as goes for adrenaline. The movie opens with Cole, an easy to relate to and earnest everyman, in love with the mysterious Sadie and the intrigue coming on her slowly pulls him into a whirlwind of excitement. When he peels off her secret agent identity, the plot turns whimsical, making their still inchoate romance a life or death international adventure. Very playful but suspenseful mood, the mix of genuine connection and exciting action sets up the viewer on his/her toes.

The performances are charming with the chemistry between the leads winning everyone over with a laugh and tender heartedness of the characters. The actors add warmth and wit to the film making their relationship seem genuine among the disorder. The trend spills at a reasonably fast pace, smoothly mixing up comedic timing with action clips. Visually the film uses the lavish locations, slick cinematography to carry the soma-vegetable style of globe-trotting adventure and the soundtrack accompanies the lovable tunes to give further zest to the romances and suspense too.

What really spoke to people was the film’s appreciation for serendipity, trust and storylines of serendipitous love. “Ghosted” creates a nice escapist experience that brought me back to the significance of accepting the surprises of life. Despite the fact that it sometimes goes into well-trodden territory, it achieves all it needs to with its charm, its humor and more than adequate heart and it is, as a result, a truly enjoyable ride. Eventually, it is a happy reminder that occasionally the most glorious adventures are if we venturing into the unknown.
