Garv: Pride and Honour - (review)

The story along with its endemic corruption follows a narrative path that deeply affects viewers because it exposes the vast dilemmas and internal struggles faced by the characters. Through this film viewers explore a society which demonstrates how noble principles encounter brutal facts during a journey that educates while demanding social justice. Seeing Arjun’s heavy duty became the most powerful part of the film when he experienced feelings of guilt and frustration and disillusionment from serving as a police officer.  Through his story the film forces us to question our personal limits when defending honor.

A person must figure out how to find their way through a defective justice system that works to stop justice from taking place. The movie creates different emotional responses throughout its story which include frustration besides anger and depression and brief moments of hope that emerge when members of the team bond together. The film presented moments which demanded me to choose between supporting justice but doubting the ethical troughs of Arjun’s conduct throughout the narrative. Anyone who watches this movie should recognize the huge cost righteousness produces in societies where brutality substitutes for power.

Viewing “Garv: Pride and Honour” transcends film-watching because it stimulates audience members to rethink their ethical principles individually and socially. The story urges viewers to uncover meaning through their turbulent situations as it shows how each single act produces major consequences which remain immediately significant for our present day. After watching this film audiences must study their own conceptions of justice and morality because the story continues to affect viewers’ thoughts even after the credits finish.
