The Norwegian horror-comedy movie “Dead Snow” is the film by Tommy Wirkola about Nazi zombies that cleverly combines the bloodthirsty and funny to one degree or another. This film tells a story of group of medical students going for a break skiing in the countryside where they meet the zombies and when they get to their cabin, all hell break loose.
When it comes to comedy and horror, the movie excels at this with jokes, funny movements all over the film, though it has the tension at some point. They are stereotype but the stereotyped characters are interesting to watch while the try to fight off zombies. Sensational images of Norway nature and landscapes are shot in the framework of the paintings’ exquisite aesthetic while representing hyper-ostentative gore violence and impressive special effects.
Nonetheless, it can be overly flip, and while subtle at times it can also be slow to pick up the pace. However, overall “Dead Snow” provides a good deal of laughter and emotions for those who are into horror films. In total, it’s a combination of the horror and comedy that people are ready to watch both thrilling and funny.
