That was why, *Customs Frontline* would be best described as an aggressive daring drama that depicts the life of Hong Kong customs officers during the time of spies, betrayal, and treachery. The movie circumvents young officer Chow Ching-lai and Nicholas Tse as the main leading role while Cheung Wan-nam has Jacky Cheung in it and they stand against the threat of international arms dealing. It adds emotion to the work to have Jake and Hannah, characters in a mentor student relationship.
The processing is tense, and the actions are presented in parallel with the characters’ growth, which is quite appropriate for the genre; the shooting is originally capturing the Hong Kong scenery. The music increases uneasiness contributing to the plots progression from from a simple customs search to an Interpol point.
Despite lack of depth in most of the side and supporting characters, the plot provokes a lot of themes to do with loyalty, duty as well as moral aspects of justice. Perfect acting, good story telling propels *Customs Frontline* as a typical action packed espionage movie, one might say as good as if not better than KC’s Bourne films. The movie receives a rating of 4.5/5 and is recommended for fans of series like *Mission: *The Expendables* and *Impossible*.
