Louis Leterrier’s “Clash of the Titans” is an action packed take on a Greek myth, containing spectacular graphics and concentrated storyline around Perseus, the demigod, sonDelete son of Zeus. He goes on an dangerous mission to rescue humanity including the life of the comely Persephone from Hades (Ralph Fiennes) and his evil cronies.
It also has elements related to revenge, selflessness and predestination vs free will; Worthington brings a hard edged robust and sincere portrayal of a man who finds himself a hero. That cast strengthens the plot, even if some characters within it still do not have quite as filled out character arcs as they could: Liam Neeson as Zeus and Gemma Arterton as Io. The activities and the graphics work well, although they may sometimes lose the dramatic senses.
Perseus undergoes a transformation and accepts his fate as the hero of the story accompanied by a phenomenal soundtrack by Ramin Djawadi. There are such flaws like occasional pacing and Freedom’s lack of (un)telling facets, elements which seem rather simple; notwithstanding, “Clash of the Titans” offers a solid portion of the myths’ action and learning choice is up to people themselves.
