A man finds himself awakening in hospital but loses his memory as if the stitches of a damaged quilt were torn away during surgery. This opening sequence of *Blackout* starts an intense story. The movie starts by presenting a lockdown scenario in an institution designed for healing which transforms clinical hospital passageways into perils that threaten his survival. The pursuit of his identity becomes a desperate chase after he barely escapes from the pursuit of relentless Cartel members.
