The exhilarating action film “Baby Driver” uses exhilarating soundtrack videos to create a distinctive story tempo which blends high-octane car chases. Through Ansel Elgort the film introduces Baby as a skilled getaway driver who is pushed into employment with Doc Spacey who plays a crime boss. The extraordinary driving ability which Baby possesses because of his musical passion creates both advantages and disadvantages for him.
The movie presents breathtaking car sequences and crime operations while showing Baby’s desire to escape through his relationship with Debora who is played by Lily James. The tension between Baby’s constant involvement with crime leads to escalating danger which threatens to end his relationship with Debora. Through slick dialogue and dynamic visuals Director Edgar Wright shows how Baby makes his way toward freedom from the risks of his criminal life.
The movie delivers impressive style and energetic scenes but some side characters remain superficial because of limited character expansion. The audience experiences an exhilarating journey in “Baby Driver” which shows personal freedom and drive to chase down their dreams until the credits conclude.
