Attaque Programmee is a highly dynamic and involving thriller loaded with the elements of corporate spying, political intrigue, and human endurance. Already in the very beginning, there is a rushy, speedy narration in the movie which keeps people on their toes. The arguments of its thrilling plot concern the idea of seasoned security specialist, Lu Zi Ming who is accused of murder when in fact; he did not commit this illegal act. The tale of corruption and deceit about bad people, rotten government and mysterious organizations, the film touches upon the issues of trust, decency, and survival and how delicate justice may happen to be in a world, where greed and power are everything.
In appearance, the movie strikes with a polished camera-work and careful craft design that shows the scenery of high-tech industrial veined with places of darkness and secrecy. An aggressive score, style of editing that keeps most of the edges excruciating, keeps the tension high and, when special effects are used, certain action sequences are augmented to serve the primary purpose of the story, without shadowing it. The acting is good, especially on the role of the character named Lu Zi Ming whose calm poise and celerity of thought allows the audience to fall in empathy and admiration. The secondary characters are profound and morally complex, which opens the story to a variety of wavelengths.
According to me what came closest was the way the movie raised a brew of adrenaline and reflection and it led me to ponder over the issue of loyalty, truth, and exploitation of identity. Although the movie unfolds in a bit confusing manners in its plot, it grows much in complexity, which is realistic yet enhances the level of depth that makes the movie even relatable to the modern political dynamics. On the whole, it can be stated that the film “Attaque Programmee” is an interesting and well-designed movie that haunts a person even after it is over, finally demonstrating that the real king is a man of integrity and the strength to withstand the whirlpools.
