“Angels Fallen: ”Warriors of Peace” There is preoccupation with faith, redemption and personal sins, told in the heroism story of Jake, retired marines Iraq War veteran, who is commissioned to fight a fallen angels that seeks to resurrect an army of the Zombie. The ’action is kinetic, but always accompanied by a musings over the psychological toll of battle and faith.
The movie features acting skills overall. Particularly stands out with the lead character delivering a heartfelt portrayal of someone dealing with grief and vulnerability. The lateral characters make the story more realistic, while the primary story focuses on the world of magic, war which is based on the experiences of soldiers who are tormented by their ghosts.
By employing action direction that fluctuates between dramatic and hopeful notes the film leads an audience to think about faith and sacrifice raising the pace. It helps to enlarge scores and pictorialization of emotional passages to visually appealing level. The most commendable parts of production design and special effects may be marred by some editing flaws that slightly alter the ebb and flow of emotion. Overall though – despite incorporating some genre clichés – the takeaway of contemplating themes like sacrifice and the pursuit of peace stick, with the audience by the end.
