“After Ever Happy,” is the fourth movie in the *After series; the movie mainly focuses on the convoluted love triangle between Hardin Scott and Tessa Young and their issues on a search for solace, family secrets, and identity. This is a love the tragedy genre of film which was directed by Castille Landon and aims at portraying strains arises when couples have to wake up to the bitter truths of their families.
The castmembers get the feeling and the action of the lovers’ affair right, and the persons of Josephine Langford, Tessa, and Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Hardin capture that personality and relationship right. In all the look of the film is well polished and when it comes to the movement of the camera it does work emotively, but the look sometimes slides into art house rather than reality.
