A beautiful remake of a popular fantasy world, *Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre* is an adventure set that seamlessly integrates teenage adventure with abundant mythology. It revolves around the life of a young girl, Terra, whose life was spent in the mortal world and who does not even know that she is the lost daughter of Danaya, one of the powerful Diwatas of Encantadia. Her path of an average girl to a fated Sang’gre, her protector of the Earth Gem, seems to be both inspirational and moving as she struggles to understand who she is and what she can and cannot do as powers awaken within her. The tone of the series is fine with the sense of wonder and heroism and emotional depth, and her transformation can be seen as genuine and well deserved.
The strongest thing was the powerful use of the legacy and the discovery of self. The transformation of Terra, who starts as a naive girl and turns into a fierce warrior, is somewhat hopeful and uplifting, particularly when she forms an alliance with the new generation of elemental custodians, Flamarra, Deia, and Adamus, who have their own personalities and abilities. The costume design and visual effects make the mystical world of Encantadia very vivid, and the green cinematography highlights the magic, which envelops these characters. The story tells about friendship, loyalty, and the necessity to be one’s own self, and I found this very touching and enhanced the emotional tension of the series.
Although it is an exciting good-evil conflict, where the vengeance of Queen Mitena, as the embodiment of wrath, poses a threat of peace, the series gives the viewers an opportunity to think about inner strength and windiness. The relationship between the new warriors, coupled with the rich cultural aspects intertwined into the plot makes the viewer engaged. The movie, Candantadia Chronicles: Sang gre, manages to unite the energy of youth with the eternal myth, and I am anxious to watch how Terra and her friends will be able to overcome the obstacles on their way and which new opportunities the magic world will give them to encounter brighter future.
