The story “Triad Underworld” follows the life of Hung a Triad leader who faces a decision between his criminal past and becoming a father. When Hung hesitates about his decision a brutal power fight erupts between competing factions which forces them to conspire for his death. Two ruthless gang members named Wing and Turbo receive their orders from the top to carry out the hit on Hung because gang activity maintains its extreme level of brutality.
The plot traces how Hung maintains his connection with his loyal associate Left-Hand throughout their struggle with deterred challenges that shake their friendship.
