“300: ‘‘300: Rise of an Empire” is an impressive motion picture by Noam Murro that based simultaneously on the prequel and sequel ‘‘300, ” by Zack Snyder. While it is generally about Athenian general Themistocles it portrays him as leading a naval attack on the Persian force led by their King Xerxes. The story is kept simple and revolves around the fight of democracy against tyranny etc something that people may consider as destiny.
The type of movie scenery has dramatic historical lines with elements of spectacle, though there are scenes of rough terrible battles, there are scenes of friendly comradeship. Sullivan Stapleton did a brilliant job as Themistocles and Eva Green looks absolutely stunning and deadly as the given character Artemisia. Filming and direction of Murro includes the elements of great action with slow motion and visual color.
Musically the film employs effective uses of music score that helps to raise the emotional ante. Most vigorous activities are portrayed at fast rates, but some changes from one scene to another are quite jarring. While not as deep as its predecessor, “300: Clash of ‘TITANS 2’ gives lots of action and requires thinking about the price of liberty providing innovative materials that make the audience discuss the movie in terms of the epic story.
