*Jumong* is an ancient system drama, the content of which is based on mythology, where the main character, Jumong, founded the state of Goguryeo in the IIII year 37 B.C. The paper focuses on his incredible story and points to such values as destiny, determination and individuality. This portrays coming of Jumong the legendary hero, his achievements and his struggles within power struggles. This reforms him from a heavenly prince’s son and a humble woman in his pursuit of acceptance from society, making him a young charismatic leader.
