Jack Reacher - (review)

The amazing acion packed film was released in 2012 and was directed by Christopher McQuarrie, the film is a mystery thriller with high level of psychological suspense that takes place in the small Midwestern town which was struck by the sniper attack. The storyline revolves round a professional marksman going on a shooting spree and a suspect who wants Jack Reacher on his case. This request incites a study of justice and a moral darkness, demanding the viewers to begin to think about the concept of the truth.

Rising to the tension of the film, the movie Unforgiven combines realism and thriller with special emphasis on reactions and setting up the environment the audience would have to think about Reacher’s desire for justice. Tom Cruise as Reacher does it pretty good; a hulking muscled guy with a terrible philosophy of life and society as supported by Rosamund Pike and Werner Herzog. McQuarrie does that extremely selectively which is backed by mise-en-scene as Gregg Anderson captures cinematic morality on camera.

The score and sound design enhance high tension thereby create an actual data feel within the drama. Last, “Jack Reacher” the spectators, the issues of guilt, justice and ethical issues. I do not have very many complaints about the pacing of the film but this movie is a great and rather deep one and should be among the best movies ever made.
