The film’s high speed never lets the viewers rest easy as it has very good fight choreography, which highlights Hemsworth physicality and stunt team’s talent. Despite this, the film also intersperses emotional lines throughout its storyline making it more than just an adrenaline rush. The film’s grimy cinematography and lengthy takes enhance the sense of immersion.

Henry Jackman’s score complement the thrilling sequences with an emotional layer. There are some predictable plot twists and the characters do not develop well in “Extraction,” which is still an adrenaline-pumping action thriller that outweighs its drawbacks with sincere moments, revealing aspects of their complexities.
