“War of the Arrows” is another good action movie that viewers can recommend for fanatic fans of action films with elements of historical movie about King Namyi, Korean Archer that needs to save his sister kidnapped by Manchu forces. The first aeries of the movie give the taste of the wonderful experience, archery of Nam-yi and desire to save sister. Everything from the direction, acting to cinematography is quite impressive as it captures the beautiful looks of South Korea’s countryside and the ravages of war on a village.
I think this gives Nam-yi an emotional progression solely fueled by his lust for his sister and his desire to protect her. This aspect would make the Nam-yi’s pursuit in the film even more interesting – the theme of the film is family and loyalty. The music for the film is also very relevant: each confrontational scene with the opponent is depicted as Nam-yi has to fight.
It is action packed; there are no timeouts between the fight scenes of the two and the sudden roles they switch or the positions they take. A few of the principal characters are rather stereotyped, especially the evil characters, but, considering everything, this is not criticism which can be made at all. “War of the Arrows” – is a movie that will make a person tense all the time. And it is entertaining, for real, the kind of a thrilling ride that depicts values like love for the family, friendship, courage.
